Annapurna circuit is considered one of the best treks in the world, where you can see beautiful rivers, exquisitely diverse flora and fauna, and of course, breathtaking mountains. The trek begins at an elevation of 1300m where the climate is typically sub-tropical and then makes its way up to the Thorong La pass at an elevation of 5416m. Along the way, you will find yourself experiencing a variety of rich cultures, from Hindu in the villages at lower elevation to Tibetan-Buddhist in villages at a higher elevation. You will also meet the Manang people, who have a unique blend of both cultural influences. The trek also reaches the Muktinath temple, an extremely holy place for both Buddhists and Hindus at an elevation of 3800m. The trek goes past several beautiful peaks such as Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna III and Gangapurna, and also through Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri while passing through the deepest gorge in the world in between the latter two 8000+ mountain peaks.
